Judy Bourque, 63, died on Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at Elbow Lake Hospital in Elbow Lake, MN.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held on 10:00 AM, Monday, May 21, 2007 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Oklee, MN with Father John Kleinwachter presiding. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery, rural Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:30 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.

Judith Judy Ann Bourque was born on May 29, 1943 to William Bill and Eunice (Boucher) Bourque in Crookston, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Francis Xavier Church in Oklee, MN. She attended school in Oklee. At the age of 18 years, she moved to Fergus Falls. She also lived in Brainerd and Argyle, MN for a time, before moving back to Fergus Falls. For the past 10 years, Judy has lived in Elbow Lake, MN. She worked at the DAC. She worked folding garbage bags and shredding papers.

She enjoyed coloring, collecting stuffed animals, and she also enjoyed looking at pictures.

She is survived by her mother Eunice Bourgue, Erskine, MN; 5 brothers and sisters: Marie (Richard) VanVooren, Long Beach, CA; Richard (Barb) Bourgue, Monticello, MN; Louise (Earl) Leiran, Tucson, AZ; Michael Bourque, Moorhead, MN; David Bourque, Brooks, MN; 13 nieces and nephews, 20 great nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her father William, and an infant sister.
