Judy Inglis of Thief River Falls, MN, 71, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls, MN, with Pastor Bert Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Sunday. Judy (Vagle) Inglis was born on February 24, 1943 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Grant and Edna (Johnson) Vagle. She attended school in Lake Bronson, MN, graduating in 1961. This year on April 27, Judy and her husband, Gary celebrated 40 years of marriage. After their marriage they made their home in Lake Bronson, Fosston, and eventually in Thief River Falls where they raised their family. For 26 years Judy worked as a home daycare provider, providing love to hundreds of kids and families. Following her retirement from daycare she worked as the secretary of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls. From 1999 until the present Judy and Gary cared for many foster children. Judy loved to spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite times were spent sitting around the table, reminiscing and singing with her family. Judy was involved in many church functions and community organizations. She especially loved being involved in many areas of life where she could help other people. Judy is survived by her husband, Gary; her children, Bryan (Christy) Inglis, Brad (Chrissy Hanson) Inglis, and Mandy (Abhay) Rawal; grandchildren, Cade and Carter Inglis; aunt, Evelyn Johnson; sister-in-law, Jennifer Vagle; niece, Stacey (Andy) Fougner; nephew, Matthew (Melissa) Vagle as well as many cousins, family, and friends. Preceding her in death are her parents, Grant and Edna Vagle; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Andy and Edna Inglis; brother, Marshall Vagle; nephew, Tyler Vagle
