Judy Loeffler (Roisland) age 67, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Lake City Care Center, Lake City, MN. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverends John Golv and Ale Tulu Officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held on Friday, 5 - 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls and also one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Judy Lorraine Loeffler was born July 11, 1947 in Thief River Falls, MN daughter of the late Derby and Opal (Hamernes) Roisland. She was raised in the Thief River Falls area and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966. Following graduation she worked in Thief River Falls, moved to Minneapolis where she worked for a short time. Judy returned to Thief River Falls where she was employed at Arctic Cat, Halls Floral and for many years at Digi Key until her retirement in June of 2012. On May 8, 1976 she was united in marriage to Robert Elgin Loeffler at Zion Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls. To this union 4 children were born Jeri, Natalie, Bobbi Jo and Shane. She enjoyed attending activities that her children and grandchildren participated in, visiting with friends and family but most of all she loved the time with them. Judy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband Bob of Thief River Falls, MN; children Jeri Loeffler of St. Cloud, MN, Natalie (special friend Vuyisile Nkomo) Loeffler of Rochester, MN; Bobbi Jo Loeffler of Thief River Falls, MN and Shane Loeffler of Kansas City, Kansas: grandchildren Kyle Loeffler, Tysen Loeffler, Nevaeh Loeffler, Belah Loeffler: brother Jerry (Arlyce) Roisland of Bradenton, FL and Kathy Bryant of Chugiak, AK along with nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Tom Jr., nephew Jerrad Roisland and several aunts and uncles. She was greatly loved and will be missed dearly by her family and friends.
