Juliette Molskness, 87, of Thief River Falls, MN died on Thursday, February 03, 2011 at Oakland Park Communities in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. n Saturday, February 5, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Scott Pattison officiating. Burial will be held at Wildwood Cemetery in Rosewood, MN.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.

Juliette Anna Ranstrom was born on July 22, 1923 in Bloomer Township in Marshall County, MN the daughter of Victor and Ida (Sandstrom) Ranstrom. The family moved often in the Warren and Thief River Falls, MN areas and Juliette attended different schools as she was growing.

On June 3, 1950, Juliette was united in marriage to Clarence Molskness at the First Baptist Church in Thief River Falls. The couple made their home in Sanders Township, Pennington County where they operated a farm and raised their two daughters, Susan and Janet.

Juliette worked at several places throughout the years including JC Penny, Bredeson Cleaners and Northwestern Hospital all in Thief River Falls. She also handled the many farm duties alone when Clarence was working on the railroad. Juliette did cake decorating for weddings and other events in the area.

She was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Thief River Falls where she spent many years as a Sunday School teacher. Juliette interests included sewing, quilt making, cooking and baking. She was an avid gardener nurturing from seed to table, and enjoyed sharing the results with family and friends around her table. Taking pictures of family and friends was a passion for Juliette, learned from her father and passed to her daughters. She continued her interest in photography to the last days of her life.

Survivors include two loving daughters, Susan (Edward) Bartoszuk of Racine, WI and Janet (Bruce) Johnson of Thief River Falls; six grandsons, Joshua (Amy) Bartoszuk of Appleton, WI, Benjamin (Jessica) Bartoszuk of Sussex, WI, Luke (Diane Pinnow) Bartoszuk of Racine, WI, Reuben Bartoszuk of Racine, WI, Micah (Teresa) Johnson of Fargo, ND and Andrew Johnson of Bloomington, MN; great-grandsons, Quinn Bartoszuk of Sussex, WI and Jacob Bartoszuk of Appleton, WI; sister, June (Denis) Dudrey of Bloomington, MN; brother, Donavan (Marge) Ranstrom also of Bloomington, MN; sister-in-law, Barbara (Joe) Jones of Salyer, CA; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by husband, Clarence in 1999; parents; and brothers, Kermit Ranstrom and Vernon Ranstrom.
