June McCann was born on June 9, 1926 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Mike and Johana (Thompson) McCann. She attended school in Thief River Falls and Fairbault, MN, for the deaf.

On March 17, 1946, June was united in marriage to Floyd Borgen, Sr. in Thief River Falls. The couple moved to Libby, MT for a short time and returned to Thief River Falls in October of 1946.

June will be remembered for her love of baking, cooking, crocheting and knitting.

June is survived by two sons: Floyd Jr. (Red) and Darla Borgen of Bemidji, MN and Rodger Borgen and special friend, Tracy Anderson of Thief River Falls, MN; grandchildren: Jared Mostrom-Ose, John (Babbett) Jorgenson, Courtney (Kevin) Ritterman, Nichole (Forrest) Birnel, Becky (Randy) Gabel and Heather Borgen; 11 great grandchildren; brothers: Mike (Kay) McCann of Montana, Martin (Dee) McCann of Montana, Bob (Laurie) McCann of Oregon and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, on October 15, 1992; her parents; and infant daughter, Rebecca.
