June Larson, 69, of Roseau, MN formerly of Oklee, MN died on Saturday, May 15, 1999 at the Roseau Area Nursing Home in Roseau. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 1999 at 2:00 PM in Salem Lutheran Church near Oklee, MN with Reverend Robert Paulson Officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:30 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home In Oklee and also one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

June Pauline Larson was born June 25, 1929 near Fertile, MN daughter of Albert and Tina (Barlund) Langved. She was raised there and attended school there graduating from Fertile high School in 1948. She worked as a nurses aid in various places in the area. On November 4, 1951 she was united in marriage to Alvin Larson at Maple Bay, MN. The couple made their home in equality Township near Oklee where they farmed and raised livestock. On January 1, 1987 Alvin passed away. June lived on the farm for a short time, then moved to Thief River Falls then in November 17, 1994 she moved to Roseau where she had since resided.
She was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and the ladies aid, and also a homemakers group. June enjoyed needlework, painting and her flower garden.
June is survived by her three children, Heidi Horachek (Douglas) of Goodridge, MN, Daniel Larson (Charissa) of Oklee, MN and Wendy Larson of Otsego, MN. Grandchildren Corey, Adam, Anthony, Shawn, Travis and Cynthia. Brother James Langved (Maxine) of Fertile, MN; sisters Kathleen Fahey of Rosemount, MN, Alpha Halvorson (Harold) of Thief River Falls, MN and Donna Kvasager of Oklee, MN: several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
