Kadie Leeper, age 29, died Monday November 3, 2014 at her residence in Thief River Falls, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Kadie Leeper was born on January 8, 1985 in Thief River Falls, MN the daughter of Jack Edwin (Ed) Leeper, Jr. and Debra (Simenson) Davidson. She attended Lincoln High School before she went on to Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center in St. Paul, MN. On November 14, 2009 she married Christopher Marvin Melin in St. Hilaire, MN. Kadie worked various jobs in the Thief River Falls area. She loved all animals and children, and she especially loved her Chihuahua, Scrappy Doo. She enjoyed being on Facebook chatting with her friends online giving her opinion as well as playing Jackpot Party Casino on the computer. Kadie was a very talented little girl, but she never wanted anyone to notice her. Some of Kadie's favorite pastimes were listening to music, singing and dancing, biking, rollerblading and bowling. Kadie is survived by her Mother Debra Davidson, Step-father David Davidson, brother Jade Leeper, and Grandfather George Simenson; nephews Blair, Trygg and Gage Leeper along with Step brother and sister Richard and Bethany Leeper. Aunts and uncles Connie (Lee) Wensole, Claudia (Blaine Aslakson) Finneman, Charles (Lisa) Simenson; cousins Richard and Crystal Nelson, Justin Simenson, Nathan and Nicholas Finneman, Riley and Danielle Simenson. She is preceded in death by her Father, Jack Edwin Leeper, Jr., Grandmothers, Marge Coats and Lucil Simenson, Grandfather Jack Edward Leeper, Sr., and Uncles Mark Simenson and Gary (Claudia) Finneman.
