Karon Bakke, 67, of Fox Lake, WI passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her home.

Memorial services will be 10:30 AM, Friday, November 19, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be 9:30 AM-10:30 AM, Friday.

A memorial celebration of Karons life will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the Fox Lake American Legion Post.

Karon was born September 2, 1943 in Litchfield, MN, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Evelyn Linderman Mittelstadt. She was educated in the Thief River Falls, MN area. In 1997 she moved to the Fox Lake, WI area where she enjoyed many friends and her job at Kohls Dept. Store in Beaver Dam in their jewelry department.

Karon is survived by a son, Ryan (Jody) Bakke of Thief River Falls, MN; a daughter, Sarah (Scott) Fortune of Woodbury, MN; Six grandsons: Chase Bakke, Blake Bakke, Arturo Alcozer/Bakke, Cody Schindler, Chad Manning, Chris Manning, a brother, Steve (Linda) Mittelstadt, two nieces: Stephanie (Jay) Adams, Stacy Mittelstadt and their sons, Tyler, Ryan and Cameron, and special friends, Brian and Cookie Lofberg of Fox Lake, WI.
