Kathryn Anderson, age 91, passed away on December 26, 2015 at the Castle Ridge Nursing Home in Eden Prairie, MN.

Memorial Services will be held at the Castle Ridge Care Center Chapel, Eden Prairie, MN, at 2:30 PM, Sunday, January 3, 2016.

Kathryn Louise Granum was born on January 10, 1924 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Ole G. and B. Marie (Hermanson) Granum.

Kathryn attended school in Thief River Falls, graduating from Lincoln High School. She furthered her education in Business School.

Kathryn served in the United States Navy during WWII. Following her military service, she worked for the United States Federal Government.

Kathryn enjoyed gardening, listening to Big Band music, art, drawing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Diane Anderson of Edina, MN; grandchildren, Chad and Steven Anderson; her great-grandchildren and her nephew, John Stromberg of Thief River Falls, MN.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Glen Anderson; sister, Helen Lay and brother, Jack Granum.
