Kenneth Matthew, 60 of Lisbon, MN formerly of Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Veterans Home, Lisbon, ND.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Kristin Ostercamp Officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Kenneth Matthew was born July 8, 1958 in Thief River Falls, MN son of Kenneth and Sharon Judy (Lee) Matthew. He attended school in Thief River Falls, MN.

On February 4, 1976 Kenneth entered the US Navy and served his country until his honorable discharge on September 20, 1977.

Following his discharge he returned to Thief River Falls where he worked at Service Master and later for Arctic Cat. He enjoyed music and studying history.

Kenneth is survived by his father Kenneth Matthew in California; siblings Keith Matthew of Goodridge, MN, Lori (Scott) Henrikson of Warroad, MN and Chad Panek of Columbia Heights, MN along with several nieces and nephews Zarek Matthew, Guinevere Henrikson, Pyper Henrikson and great-nephew Theodore Larson.

He is preceded in death by his mother Sharon Panek, infant brother, step-father Walter Panek, grandparents David and Madonna Lee and Emmons and Florence Matthew.
