Keven Roisland, 50, died on Thursday, September 17, 2009, of a massive heart attack at First Care Hospital in Fosston, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN. Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be held 5-8 PM, Monday, September 21, 2009 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM.

Keven Jon Roisland was born on November 7, 1958 to Ernest and Bonnie (Hince) Roisland in Grand Forks, ND. He grew up until the age of 11 in Grand Forks. The family then moved to Oklee where he has lived ever since. He attended high school in Oklee.

Keven was united in marriage to Linda Rose Dessellier on November 3, 1979 at St. Francis Xavier in Oklee. They lived in Oklee and then bought a home just north of Oklee in 1983.

Keven has worked at several places in the area, including Bobs Napa in Oklee, Erskine Manufacturing, Brooks Auto, and was currently employed at Thiberts Chevrolet in Red Lake Falls, MN. That is where he personalized and detailed customers cars.

Keven was a car enthusiast. He attended as many car shows as he could. He looked forward to attending the Back to the 50s Car Show every year in the Twin Cities. He purchased a 1939 Chevrolet sedan and rebuilt a 1956 Chevrolet. He enjoyed fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Keven was an outdoorsman. He liked being outside more than inside. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.

He is survived by his wife Linda, Oklee, 2 children: Mandy (Darrell Sandeen) Roisland, Oklee, MN, Casey (Julie) Roisland, Oklee, MN, 4 grandchildren: Lindsey, Eric, Gunnar, Gavin, 4 siblings: Liane (Bruce) Barton, Fergus Falls, MN, Kerry (Carol) Roisland, Grand Forks, ND, Jan (Ron) Skallet, Thief River Falls, MN, Vicky (Loren) Vettleson, Trail, MN, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Keven was preceded in death by his parents.
