Kevin Larson, 49, of Red Lake Falls, MN passed away January 29, 2015 at his rural Red Lake Falls, MN home surrounded by his loving family. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bill DeCrans Officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 from 5 - 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN and also one hour prior to the service at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday. Kevin Edward Larson was born March 7, 1965 at Crookston, MN son of Gerald and Evelyn (Delorme) Larson. He was baptized at St. Dorothy and Confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church. He attended School in Red Lake Falls and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1983. Kevin joined the US Navy in 1983 and following his honorable discharge he returned to Red Lake Falls. In 1988 Kevin was united in marriage to Colleen Sauve at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls. Kevin worked at Dee Inc. in Crookston and was self-employed owner/operator, transporting mobile homes all over the Midwest. Kevin recently sold the business due to ill health. Kevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, pinochle and most any sports. He was also a member of the Eagles. He is survived by his children Brett James Larson of Red Lake Falls, MN and Joshua Bergerson of Thief River Falls, MN: granddaughter Charley Mae Schindler of Moorhead, MN: mother Evelyn Larson of Spokane, WA; his faithful four legged friend Rocky; grandmother Cecelia Roth of Spokane, WA; brother Bruce Larson of Red Lake Falls, MN along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his Father Gerald, sister Roxane Larson, Paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Cancer Society.
