Keyarah was born on December 19, 2008, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota, to Terrell and Constance (Morris) Verdell. She was raised in Thief River Falls and attended Challenger Elementary School, Franklin Middle School, and Lincoln High School. A dedicated Honor Student, Keyarah was preparing to graduate with the Class of 2027.

Keyarah was a bright, intelligent, and exceptionally creative young woman whose personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She had a deep love for music and the arts and enjoyed playing the violin, piano, guitar, and drums. She was a proud member of the Lincoln High School Orchestra, where she shared her musical talents with others.

Her interests were many and reflected her imaginative spirit. Keyarah enjoyed teasing her siblings, cosplay, collecting Marvel and DC memorabilia, crafting with cardboard, drawing, reading comic books, making TikTok videos, playing video games, skateboarding, and spending time with family. Her creativity, quick wit, and unique perspective on the world brought happiness to those around her.

More than anything, Keyarah will be remembered for her kind heart, intelligence, artistic gifts, and the joy she brought to her family and friends. Though her time on earth was far too short, her impact on those who loved her will never be forgotten.

She is lovingly survived by her parents, Terrell and Constance Verdell; her siblings, Kamiya Verdell and Kayden Rekow; her grandparents, Shirley Morris and William and Brenda Verdell; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, classmates, and others whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kecia Lorraine Verdell and Arlen Gene Morris.

Forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered.
