Obituary



Kim Allen Lindblom was born September 18, 1953 at Thief River Falls, MN, the son of George and Grace (Mosbeck) Lindblom. He was baptized and confirmed at First Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls. He grew up and attended elementary school in Thief River Falls. Kim and his family moved to Mahnomen, MN in 1961 where he graduated in 1972 from Mahnomen High School. He lettered in football, basketball and also played tennis. In 1974, Kim graduated from the University of Minnesota, Crookston, where he took business courses. After college, Kim moved to Milwaukee, WI where he worked for Cutler-Hammer. He returned to Thief River Falls in 1982. He worked in the office at Trident House and also drove cab in Thief River Falls for many years. He also worked at Discovery Place as well.

Kims passion was photography. He loved fishing, walked everywhere, loved nature and especially liked baseball and hockey.

Kim taught Sunday School at St. John Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls. He lived at Riverside Terrace in Thief River Falls for the last few years. He enjoyed the many friends he had and the times together with those friends.

Survived by 4 brothers and sisters, Myrna (Russell) Lane, Thief River Falls, MN; Douglas (Diane) Lindblom, Sundre, Alberta Canada, Kent (Ann) Lindblom, Mahnomen, MN and Jodi (Mike) Engelstad, Columbus, IN; 6 nieces and nephews; Lisa (Rob) Paine, Calgary, Alberta Canada , Chris (Ellie) Lindblom, Todd (Kristin) Lindblom, Jenni (Dave) Cialdini all of Milwaukee, WI, Steven Engelstad, Tucson, AZ and Jakki Engelstad, Columbus, IN; 4 great nieces and nephews and several aunts and uncles.

Preceded in death by parents; niece, Deanna Lane and nephew, Dana Lane.

In Lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated by the family.
