Kristen (Piche) Slover 39, passed away at her home in East Grand Forks, MN on January 14, 2022.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Daphne Urban officiating. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery south of Red Lake Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 5 – 7 PM with a 7 PM prayer service at Bethany Lutheran Church and also on Friday one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Kristen Ann (Piche) Slover was born May 7, 1982 in Thief River Falls, MN, she was the daughter of Debra and Dennis Piche. Kristen graduated from Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls in 2001. She went of to pursue a degree in dental assisting from Northwest Technical College in Bemidji, MN in 2003. After graduation Kristen worked as a registered dental assistant for various dentist, most recently working for Dr. Mecham in Grand Forks, ND.

Kristen was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. Kristen enjoyed animals especially her horses. Some of her favorite times were listening to country music and attending concerts with family and friends. Kristen was an avid sports fan, watching the MN Vikings and coaching her daughter's basketball team. She had a passion for sports cars, one which she shared with her dad.

Kristen is survived by daughter Hailey Slover, East Grand Forks, MN; parents Debra and Dennis Piche, Red Lake Falls, MN, siblings Jeremy Knutson, Red Lake Falls, MN, Tiffany Sheppard (Chris Sumpter, Detroit Lakes, MN and Lisa (Kyle) Jorissen, Casselton, ND. Nieces and nephews Alex Knutson, Kaitlin Knutson, Anthony Knutson, Mikayla Sheppard, Izabella Jorissen, Gabriela Jorissen, and Kingsley Jorissen. Aunts and uncles Roger (Patty) Piche, Elaine Peterson and Wayne (Lisa) Piche and numerous cousins. Former spouse Jesse Slover. Special friend, Craig Anderson and children.

Kristen is preceded in death by her grandparents Delbert and Laura Erickson, Betty and Charlie Barkie and George Piche; uncles Ben Piche and Greg Piche and cousin Mark Piche.

Kristen will be remembered as a ray of sunshine for her outgoing and sparkling personality. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
