Lance Bugge was born on August 20, 1970 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Keith and Leona (Vesledahl) Bugge. He was baptized at Calvary Lutheran Church in Winger, MN and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. He attended Washington Elementary School, Franklin Middle School and Lincoln High School. Lance took welding at the AVTI in Thief River Falls, graduating in Auto Body.
Lance worked at Northland Foods for about three years, starting in 1989. He began working for Arctic Cat in 1992, where he welded for eight years and drove forklift for the remaining time. He also worked part time at the Club.
He was an avid hunter with bow and guns, loved playing pool, fishing and enjoyed making antler mounts for family and friends. Most of all Lance loved spending time with his kids, family and extended family, who were very important to him.
Lance was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a life member of the American Hunting Club.
Lance is survived by five children: Brandi Bjorgaard, Dalton Fredrickson, Lance Dexter Bugge, Jr., Emily Bugge and Madison Bugge; soul mate, Joy Haverkamp and her children, Josh and Marissa Haverkamp; his parents, Leona and Keith Bugge of Thief River Falls, MN; one brother, Brian (Julie) Bugge and their children Katrina and Mariah of Thief River Falls, MN; one sister, Jessica (special friend Darwin Klemetson) Bugge and her daughter, Haley Bruggeman of Thief River Falls, MN; aunts and uncles: Neil (Sharon) Bugge, Bruce (Ruth) Bugge and John (Shari) Bugge, Tom (Laurie) Vesledahl, Jim (Carol) Chaput and Mary Jane Gall; and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Einar and Louella Grandma LuLu Vesledahl; paternal grandparents, Earl and June Bugge; and half-brother, Chad Allen Bugge in infancy.
