Laney Theodora Ricki Holtan born and passed away on July 1, 2019 at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverends Ale Tulu and John Golv Officiating. Burial will be held at Rindahl Cemetery rural Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Laney is survived by her parents Aaron and Ashley Holtan, big brother Declan Holtan, grandparents Mark and Janine Vande Velde of West Fargo, ND, Dale and Deb Holtan of Newfolden, MN, great-grandmothers Idalia Ginn of Slayton, MN and Helen Rude of Thief River Falls, MN, aunts and uncles Chris (Olivia) Vande Velde of Moorhead, MN, Amber (Patric Hanson) Holtan of St. Hilaire, MN, Amanda (Marco) Jeworrek of Holt, MN and cousins Levin Vande Velde, Larkin Vande Velde, Ethan Larson, Dillon Jeworrek, Brady Jeworrek, Rudy Jeworrek, Tristan Hanson, Alex Hanson.

Laney is preceded in death by great-grandparents Chester Ginn, Rudy Rude, Arthur and Raphie Vande Velde, Joe and Mable Holtan, great-aunt Gail Vande Velde, great-uncle Jim Vande Velde, cousins Vanessa Willems, Kelsey Piche and Nova DeFrang; special friend Richard Smith.
