Larry L. Seurer Jr. age 38 passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Gunderson Hospital in LaCrosse, WI as a result of a motorcycle accident near Wadena, IA.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls with Reverend Kristin Ostercamp Officiating. Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5 – 8 PM with a 6:30 PM prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls and also one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.

Larry Lee Seurer Jr. "JR" was born October 25, 1977 in Fort Lewis Army Base, Tacoma, WA son of Larry Lee and Beverly Kay (Gillihan) Seurer Sr. He was raised in Montana and Minnesota graduating from Helena High School in 1995. Larry worked at Arctic in Thief River Falls for many years. Larry purchased a truck and owned and operated Seurer trucking, he also owned and operated Itasca Truck Repair in Devils Lake, ND and most recently was employed at Thompson Truck and Trailer Decorah, IA.

He was married to Shauna Keeper and to this marriage one daughter was born Natasha.

Larry enjoyed being a free spirit and loved the open road, living life on the edge to its fullest. He loved Harley motorcycles and lived to ride. He also enjoyed fast cars, boats, and semi-trucks. He also enjoyed traveling, sky diving, white water rafting. Even though his life was short he packed in more than most in their lifetime and wasn't afraid to try anything. When he worked he worked hard and when he played he played even harder. He loved the work he did and worked his best under pressure. His pride and joy was his daughter Natasha Marie Seurer Myrick. Larry's hero most of his life was his father Larry Seurer Sr. He was a very determined man and accomplished everything he set his mind to do.

Larry is survived by his daughter Natasha Seurer Myrick of Houston, MO; father Larry (Dianne) Seurer of Thief River Falls, MN, mother Beverly (Harley) Gillihan of Fargo, ND; siblings Jeannie Seurer of Helena, MT, Brandi Decker of Kalispell, MT, Nikki Reese of Cleveland, OH, Brandon Seurer of Thief River Falls, MN, Ryan Bowen of Port Angelas, WA, Chrystal Bowen of Helena, MT; step siblings Mitchell (Connie) Loe of Thief River Falls, MN, Jessica (Shane) Myhre of Thief River Falls, MN, Bret Colden of Red Lake Falls, MN and Bart Colden of Fargo, ND; girlfriend Lisa Torkelson and her children; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard Seurer, Arlene Buzzell, Frank Gillihan, Lyla Dawson. Step-father Mason Parsons, step-brothers Lonnie and Lenny Colden.
