LeAnn L. Palmer, 35, of Gillette, WY formerly of Oklee, MN died on Monday, August 9, 1999 in Gillette, WY. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 1999 at 11:00 AM in Zion Lutheran Church in Oklee, MN with Reverend Robert Paulson Officiating. Burial will be held in the Valle Cemetery near Oklee.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 Prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee and also one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.

LeAnn L. Person was born September 24, 1963 in Fosston, MN daughter of Arnold and Caroline (Spencer) Person. She was raised and educated in Oklee, MN. She moved to Gillette in 1980 from Oklee where she worked as a waitress at the Ramada Inn and did road Construction for Boatright-Smith and Cundy Asphalt.
On February 15, 1986 she was united in marriage to Tom Palmer in Gillette, WY. In the late 1980s she attended and graduated from the Gillette College of Cosmetology. She than worked for Boardwalk Hair design and Sandras. She was a member of the Saint Matthews Catholic Church and enjoyed crafts, sewing and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Palmer of Gillette, WY; son Nick Palmer of Gillette, WY and step daughter Anesse Palmer of Gillette, WY. Parents Arnold and Caroline Person of Oklee, MN; three brothers Howard (Rita) Person of Thief River Falls, MN, Mike (Nancy) Person of Hendrum, MN and David (Jenny) Person of Oklee, MN: sister Peggy (Daryl) Schumacher of Crookston, MN; 8 nieces and nephews and 4 great nieces and nephews. An great aunt Helga Lambert of Thief River Falls, MN; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
LeAnn is preceded in death by her grandparents.
