Lenore Wold went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, July 30, 2021 with her loving family by her side, at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN on Friday, August 6, 2021 with Reverend Terry Olson Officiating. Burial will be held at Rindal Church Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 5 – 8 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN and also one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.

Lenore Eldora Wold was born on July 31, 1930 at New Solem Township, Marshall County, MN daughter of Olaf and Mayme (Evenson) Hall. She was raised on the family farm was baptized and confirmed at Rindal Lutheran Church. She attended school at Busy Bee country school through 8 ^th grade and High School in Newfolden graduating in 1948. She worked as a telephone operator for Northwestern Bell and the Turkey Plant.

On August 21, 1949 she was united in marriage to Rueben Wold at Rindal Lutheran Church. To this union 4 children were born Lynette, Robert, Janice and Richard. They settled on the Wold family farm in Adger Township, Marshall County, MN where she continued to live her entire life. She worked at Northland Foods in the Bakery for many years. Following her retirement, she began employment at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls where she continued part-time until 2009.

Lenore was very active in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church as a Sunday School teacher, Choir member and held various positions in the WMF. She loved working in the church kitchen where she developed many lifelong friendships. Lenore was a devoted wife, wonderful mother and loved her life on the farm. She enjoyed working outside with the animals, in her vegetable garden and was a wonderful baker. Her homemade bread, buns, cinnamon rolls and lefsa were the best.

She lived her faith in Christ, had a joyful heart, showing kindness and compassion. Lenore enjoyed visiting and having coffee with whoever was available.

Lenore is survived by her children, Bob (Patti) Wold of Thief River Falls, MN, Jan (Dr. David) Wilson of Lexington, KY and Rick Wold of Thief River Falls, MN, siblings Carol (Harlan) Halvorson of Thief River Falls, MN and David (Dee) Hall of Pine Island, MN.

Lenore is preceded in death by her husband Rueben in 1993, daughter Lynette in 2006, son-in-law Lonnie Nyflot in 2004, parents Olaf and Mayme Hall, brother Vernon (Doris) Hall, sister Janice (Irvin) Schmitke, along with many in-laws.

Memorials are suggested to the Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Building fund.
