Leo Lokken was born September 5, 1932 in Thief River Falls to Louie and Cora (Finkle) Lokken. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Pauli Lutheran Church.

Leo was united in marriage to LoAnne Cerny Bjorgaard on June 25, 1971 in Sisseton, SD. The couple made their home on the Lokken family farm where they farmed for many years. Leo also worked for the Soo Line Railroad from 1955 until 1992 when he retired.

Leo enjoyed fishing, going out for morning coffee, and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a member of the St. Pauli Lutheran Church and the Eagles Club.

Survived by his wife LoAnne, Thief River Falls, MN; three children, Mark Bjorgaard, Bejou, MN; Richard (Mary) Bjorgaard, Fargo, ND; Lori (Michael) Lucht, Grand Forks, ND; 8 grandchildren, Brenda Lucht, Stacy Bjorgaard, Jason Bjorgaard, Allison Lucht, Stacey (Sajed) Anvarinia, Scott Lucht, Cory Lucht, Jaclyn Lucht, one great grandchild, Emily Anvarinia, six sisters, Sylvia Lokken, St. Paul, MN; Marge Dahle, Cando, ND; Carol (Lloyd) Halvorson, Mounds View, MN; Carmen (Stuart) Solem, Grand Rapids, MN; Emily Lokken, Thief River Falls, MN; Joyce (Fred) Jensen, Minneapolis, MN. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive him.

Preceded in death by his parents, sister Sharon, a sister in infancy, niece Sandra Dahle, brother in law Reuben Dahle.
