Leona Paulson, 88, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Oakland Park Communities, Thief River Falls, MN.

Memorial Service will be 5 PM, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Gary Johnson officiating.

Visitation will be 4-5 PM, Saturday, April 12 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls.

Leona Louise Dimmen was born April 25, 1919 in Norden Township, Pennington County, Minnesota where she attended school and grew to adulthood. She married Clark Paulson in Fargo, North Dakota and they eventually moved to St. Paul, Minnesota. Clark died there on February 12, 1971. Some time thereafter, Leona moved to Thief River Falls and made her home at Valley Home and Oakland Park Communities.

Leona is survived by her four children; Larry (Cathy) Dimmen of Prior Lake, MN, Gerald (Louann) Dimmen of Forest Lake, MN, Shirley McCray of Grand Forks, ND and Arthur Paulson of Plummer, MN; 13 grandchildren and siblings, Ella Johnson of Thief River Falls, MN, Mable Andresen of Bemidji, MN and Glenn Dimmen of Dudley, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lena Dimmen and siblings, Selmer, Lloyd, Gladys, Clarence, Ivan, Clifford and Elvin (Jim).
