Lillian Donna Marie Berry, 93, of Thief River Falls, MN, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the Thief River Falls Care Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral Services will be on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 2 PM, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be from 1PM until the time of the service.

Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls, MN.

On February 12, 1928, Lillian was born to Henry and Ida (Hinrichs) Weiss in Red Lake Falls, MN.  She was baptized at Wylie Lutheran Church, Wylie, MN.  She attended Lafayette High School graduating in about 1946.  Following her schooling, Lillian worked at a bank in Minneapolis.

On June 23, 1948, Lillian was united in marriage to Norman Berry at Red Lake Falls, MN.  The couple lived in Pennington County and farmed for a short time.  In 1952, they moved to Thief River Falls, MN.  Lillian raised her children in the same house she lived in before moving to Thief River Falls Care Center.  Norman passed away on January 17, 1993, at the age of 71.

Lillian enjoyed quilting, embroidering, word search puzzles, fishing and playing cards—she was the Queen of Solitary!  Norman and Lillian traveled throughout the United States and Alaska.  Lillian enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was an active, longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Thief River Falls, MN.

Lillian survived by her children: Linda (Greg) Warren, Crystal Lake, IL, Jill (Dwight) Liebold, Oswegeo, IL, and LaNae Berggren, Anchor Point, AK; 5 grandchildren, Cory Berggren, Michael Berggren, Jennifer Liebold, Brandon Liebold, and Christopher Warren; 6 great-grandchildren: Caleb Warren, McKenzie Liebold, Griffin Liebold, Madilyn Liebold, Dylan Berggren, and Tyler Berggren; one sister-in-law, LouAnn Weiss; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Norman, grandson, Joshua Berggren, her parents, and 12 brother and sisters.
