Linda Lou Sletten, 58, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 26, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Sheila Michaels officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls and also one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Linda L. Anderson was born on September 4, 1951 in Valley City, ND, the daughter of Jack Anderson and Lois Smith. She grew to adulthood and attended school in Valley City and also received her GED.

Linda was united in marriage to Clayton Henke in 1967 and to this union two children were born, Gwen and Clayton. Linda was also blessed with another daughter Brandy Good. Linda has lived in Thief River Falls since 1987. In 1989, Linda married Daniel Brian Sletten. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls with Lindas daughter, Brandy Lynn Good. Linda worked at Arctic Cat for 13 years, McDonalds for 1 year and she had worked at Digi-Key for 5 years, until her illness forced an early retirement.

She enjoyed the outdoors and did a lot of fishing, camping, and staying at the cabin on Lake of the Woods. Linda was also a garage sale fanatic.

Linda is survived by her husband, Daniel of Thief River Falls, MN; three children: Gwen (Lance) Coit of Valley City, ND, Clayton (Tammy) Henke, Jr. of Valley City, ND and Brandy Good (Jayson Lamoureux) of Grand Forks, ND; step-son, Brian Sletten of Albertville, MN; three grandchildren: Brady Henke, Samantha Coit and Raelynne Lamoureux; father and mother-in-law, Wilford (Phyllis) Sletten of Thief River Falls, MN; brothers and sisters: Larry (Barbara) Anderson of Brainerd, MN, Siguard Anderson of Brainerd, MN, Susan (Jim) Eckert of Battle Mountain, NV, Mary Jo Anderson of Brainerd, MN and Denise Anderson of Modesto, CA; and sister-in-law, Kathy Anderson of Brainerd, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, David Anderson and mother-in-law, Marion Sletten.
