Lisa Carr, age 49 passed away Thursday January 24, 2013 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held Monday January 28, 2013 9:00am at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery at Terrebonne, MN. Visitation will be held Sunday January 27, 2013 from 5-8pm at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Lisa was born February 6, 1963 to Gerald and Bobbie (Schiefert) Belland in Thief River Falls, MN. She attended school in Dallas, TX and graduated from Lewisville High school in 1981. In 1983 Lisa was united in marriage to David Carr and in 1998 moved to Thief River Falls, MN and worked for Inter County Nursing and was currently employed at the Casino. Lisa's hobby's were cooking, cross stitching, knitting, scrapbooking, travel and photography. She was an avid supporter of the Humane Society and was also a Leader for the Girl Scouts for 7 years. Lisa is survived by her daughter Mariah Carr of Thief River Falls, MN, her Mother Bobbie (Richard) Milne of Richardson, TX, Sister Lora Belland of Plano TX, Step-mother Darlene Newland of Thief River Falls, MN, other family members Shawn (David Majeres) Newland, and Renee Georgewell. She is preceded in death by her father Gerald Belland, Grandparents, Anthony and Ezella Schiefert, Edward and Cecile Belland.
