Lisa Parsons, 38, died on Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Curtis Matz officiating.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.


Lisa Jayne Beekman was born on November 30, 1971 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin the daughter of Wilbur and Cheryl (Jackett) Beekman. She was baptized into the Lutheran faith in Milwaukee and attended the West Allis Central High School in West Allis, Wisconsin.

On June 8, 1991 Lisa was united in marriage to John Parsons and to this union a son, Richard was born. Lisa later became the proud mother to Steven and Mariah.

Lisa had a beautiful, generous, caring and spiritual personality. She would do what she could for people. She loved her children, animals, crafts, and spending time outdoors enjoying natures beauty.

Although her 38 years on this earth were much too short, Lisas memory will continue to live on through those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include three children, Ricky (special friend, Shayla Engen) Parsons of Thief River Falls, Steven Kriplean of Milwaukee, WI and Mariah Nelson of Strandquist, MN; mother, Cheryl (Robert) Lee; brothers, Mark Beekman and Aaron (special friend, Lorrie Herrick) Beekman all of Milwaukee, WI; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
