Lloyd Engebretson, 68, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at the Northwood Group Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, April 12, 2003 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Gary Graff officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Red Lake Falls, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Lloyd Engebretson was born on December 8, 1934 in Red Lake County, MN, the son of Clarice Enebretson. Lloyd has no known living relatives. He lived with foster parents in his early life. He also lived at Brainerd, Cambridge and Fergus Falls, MN. In June 1972, he moved to the Johnson Riverside Boarding Home in Thief River Falls, MN. He lived there until 1989. Lloyd then moved to the Fosston area, where he lived until August of 1997, when he moved to Northwood Group Home in Red Lake Falls, where he remained until his death. Lloyd worked at the HTC in Red Lake Falls until he became ill.
In Lloyds earlier years he had an interest in working outdoors, helping with farm work. Lloyd had a good sense of humor. He enjoyed interacting with staff, both where he lived and in the work place. He will be very much missed for his wonderful laugh and great hugs.
Lloyds hobbies included reading, attending Mens Club at Bethany, listening to the radio and following the Twins. Too-Tall Toms weather reporting was always a great part of Lloyds conversation.
Lloyd was a member of Bethany Lutheran Churtch.
Lloyd will be missed by his friends and the staff persons who worked with him.
