Lois Krause of Thief River Falls, MN age 89 died peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at the Thief River Care Center in Thief River Falls, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. John Voelker officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN. Lois Krause was born March 20, 1926 in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Emil and Agnes (Yonke) Krause. She grew up and attended Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls, graduating in 1944. Following graduation, Lois began working for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company, now Century Link Communications. She attained 37 years of service with Bell. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Lois enjoyed researching her family history and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include three nephews, Gregory (Jill) Krause of Farmington, MN, Dennis Krause of Crawfordsville, IN and Jeff (Lori) Krause of Tampa, FL; and other relatives and friends including Richard and Lori Yonke of Thief River Falls, MN. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence, Howard, Luverne and Ernest.
