Lois Raymond, 71 Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Thief River Care Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Memorial service will held 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Thief River Falls with Reverend Alex Amiot officiating. Burial will be held at Tabor, MN Czech National Cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

Lois A. Raymond was born April 25, 1947 in Grand Forks, MN daughter of Morris G. and Pauline A. (Kopecky) Raymond, growing up on a farm near Sherack, MN. She started grade school in the Puldrabek Grade School near Sherack, MN until it closed. She finished grade school at Euclid Grade School and furthered her education at the Crookston Central High School.

Lois worked at the Northwest Regional Library in Thief River Falls for many years and later worked at the Northern Lights Bookstore. Lois loved the family reunions that were held as kids, and playing with her cousin which eventually turned into an annual Kopecky cousin reunion. Lois hosted a few Kopecky cousin reunions at the Thief River Falls Care Center. She loved music and sang in the TRCC Choir. She enjoyed all the musical entertainment at the TRCC.

She is survived by her sister Eloise A. Raymond of Thief River Falls, MN; niece Sheila (Jason) Aubol, and son Cole; along with several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Morris and Pauline Raymond, sister Carolyn Raymond and nephew Jason Wheeler.
