LoraLee "Lori" Anderson, 60, died on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A. M. on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Jill Torgerson officiating.
Visitation will be will be from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with a 6:00 P.M. Prayer service on Wednesday evening and visitation also at the church for one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday.
LoraLee Lori Johnson was born on July 17, 1946 in Roseau, MN, the daughter of Ernest and Leila (Gray) Johnson. She was baptized and confirmed at the Lutheran Church in Roseau, MN and attended Roseau Elementary School. Loris family moved to Greenbush and she attended High School in Greenbush, graduating in 1965. Following High School she attended Cosmetology in Minneapolis
Lori was married to Larry Joppru on June 13, 1967. She was employed by various Hair Salons, Hansons Flower Shop and Judys Flower and Gifts, all in Thief River Falls. Lori was united in marriage to Arthur J. Anderson on September 21, 1991. In 1989 she started Hair Designs by Lori and owned and operated it until her death.
Lori enjoyed collecting wolf pictures and statues, making dried floral arrangements on driftwood, camping at Lake of the Woods and observing nature. She loved her trips with Art to Blackduck and spending time with her family and friends. Lori also enjoyed watching the sun come up in the morning and listening to the birds.
Lori is survived by her husband, Art of Thief River Falls, MN; two children: Darek (Laura) Joppru of Douglas, WY and Paula (Kevin) Nowatzki of Grand Forks, ND; three step children: Jay (Brenda) Anderson of Pace, FL, Mike (Nikki) Anderson of Thief River Falls, MN and Sherri (Steve) Anderson of Thief River Falls, MN; ten grandchildren: Allison and Wyatt Nowatzki, Austin, Allina and Ronan Joppru, Jordan and Mackenzie Anderson, Brooklyn, Brady and Lindsey Anderson; and one brother, Mike (LuAnn) Johnson of Holt, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandparents.
