Lorraine Bernice Myrtle Hallebrot was born on January 4, 1942 in Erskine, MN the daughter of Leonard and Marie (Amberson) Hallebrot. She was baptized and confirmed by Rev. Skogerboe at Grace Lutheran Church in Erskine, MN. She attended country school and Erskine Public School graduating with the class of 1961. Lori only spoke Norwegian when she started school.

On October 10, 1964 Lorraine was united in marriage to William Kelly Jr. at Saron Lutheran Church near Erskine, MN. To this union two daughters were born, Sheila and Melissa. They lived most of their married life in Gentilly and Red Lake Falls, MN.

On June 4, 1983 Lorraine was united in marriage to Harold A. Keeler at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN and the couple continued to reside in Red Lake Falls.

Lori was an excellent cook. She worked at the Red Lake Falls bakery, The Barn Café, Thief River Falls Hospital and Senior Meal Site at Red Lake Falls. Her major interest was in studying the Bible, reading, collecting dolls, bird watching, staying connected with family and friends through Facebook, listening to country and country gospel music and going to Norwegian dances. Lori mostly loved just hanging out with her family, teaching her grandchildren life lessons from cooking, helping home school Sheila's children, listening to her grandchildren, and reading and studying God's word with her children and grandchildren.

Lori was most often seen around Red Lake Falls and Minnesota adventuring with her sister, Margaret at her side. Some of her most recent adventures were spending time with Sheila in Oregon and Ohio, she and Margaret went to the Creation Museum in Hebron, KY and most recently being present at the opening of the Ark Encounter (life sized Noah's Ark built in Williamstown, KY). Lori also spent time with step-daughter, Peggy and her family in Tower, MN. She and Margaret went to the Judy Garland Festival in Grand Rapids, MN where an old friend, Brian Carlson treated them to this wonderful weekend. Most of Lori's favorite adventures included a hotel stay where Lori always had a picture of her holding her coffee cup. Lori spent countless hours with her daughter Missy and her family throughout the years. Lori had a special way of making each of her grandchildren her favorite. She even left her light on late into the evening so granddaughter Krystle knew she was a welcome visitor when she got home from her late night job. Lori dearly loved all of her nieces and nephews and their children and spent many hours loving on them which often came in the form of late night sleep-overs and talks into the night.

She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN.
