Obituary

Angels accompanied Louis Schue, 79, of Fargo, ND formerly of Red Lake Falls, MN upon his death on March 8, 2003 at The Villa Maria Nursing Home; after enduring Lung Cancer and Alzheimers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, March 15, 2003 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Tim Bushy presiding. Burial will follow at St. Dorothy Catholic Cemetery, Dorothy, MN.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 6:30 PM Friday, March 14, 2003 at Johnson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls, MN with a 7:00 PM prayer service. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.

Louie was born December 16, 1923 to Delphine (Martell) and Michael Schue in Fisher, MN. He attended schools in Fisher and Red Lake Falls, MN. He married Violet (Teal) on June 19, 1947 at St. Josephs Rectory in Red Lake Falls, MN. Louie joined the United States Marine Air Corps January 26, 1944 where he served in the Pacific as Flight Engineer and honorably discharged July 28, 1946. He was employed in Red Lake Falls, MN by the Tow Mill, Movie Theater, Leo St. Michel Locker Plant, Wilcox, American Legion and Liquor Store. He owned Schues Carpet Service for many years. Louie was a member of St. Josephs Church, Knights of Columbus, American Legion Post 22, The Forty & Eight, VFW and Jaycees.

Louie and Vi moved to Fargo, ND in 1994. This past June they celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with their family. Louie enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, woodworking, camping, fishing and wintering in Alamo, TX.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Vi, their childrenKathy (Pete) Stich, Red Lake Falls, MN; Joette (Cal) Joy, Spearfish, SD; Rick (Deb) Schue, Fargo, ND; Tom (Yvonne) Schue, Lubbock, TX; Tim (Ruth) Schue, Port Orchard, WA; Bobbie (Tim) Miller, Coon Rapids, MN; Mary (Pete) Gerardy, Fargo, ND; and Scott (Yvette) Schue, Andover, MN. He is blessed with 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is survived by 2 sisters Eva McDonald, Warren, MN and Alice (George) Delorme, Red Lake Falls, MN; along with 2 brothers: Lawrence (Myrtle) Schue, Red Lake Falls, MN and Bernie (Etta) Schue, Bismarck, ND; as well as many nieces and nephews. His parents and 2 brothers preceded him in death.
