Louise Lefebvre, 93, of Oklee, MN died on Friday, February 23, 2001 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN. Arrangements with Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 2, 2001 at 10:30 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN with Father Gary LaMoine Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery at Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:30 prayer service and also one hour prior to services all at St. Francis Xavier Church.

Louise Marie Charest was born June 3, 1907 in Lambert Township near Oklee, MN daughter of George Sr. and Olivine (Paquin) Charest. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN. She attended school in Lambert Township. On November 5, 1930 she was united in marriage to Alveda N. Lefebvre at Oklee, MN. The couple lived and farmed in the Oklee area all of their lives. Louise moved to Valley Home in Thief River Falls in December of 1997 and since September of 1999 she has resided at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, MN.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, the Mary Circle and St. Anns Society. Louises life was her family and her church.
Louise is survived by her three sons James (Linda) Lefebvre of Sauke Rapids, MN; William (Becky) Lefebvre of Ritchfield, MN and Michael (Peggy) Lefebvre of Henderson, NV: five daughters Donna (Lester) Champagne of Niagra, WI; Eileen (Mark) Walsh of North St. Paul, MN; Janice (Jerry) Freitag of Plummer, MN; Carol (Lee) Hagelee of Edina, MN and Marilyn (Donovan) Stoneouse of Thief River Falls, MN: 28 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; six step grandchildren. Sisters Rose Perreault of Red Lake Falls, MN; Alvina Fichback of Monticello, MN; Eva Charest of Oklee, MN.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alveda in 1976; daughter Audrey Jaeger in 1971; brothers George Jr. Charest, Walter Charest and Phil Charest: sisters Eugenie Dupont, Valada Tessier, Sr. Eucharia (Anne), Sr. Zita (Hedgewig), Sr. Borgia (Flore), Ida Charest; son-in-law Gene Mattison.
