LuAnn "Luey" Peterson, age 60 of Holt, MN, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, December 14, 2015 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert Presiding.

Visitation will be held on from 3 – 6 PM with a 5:00 PM prayer service on Sunday, December 13, 2015 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.

LuAnn "Luey" Marie Peterson was born March 5, 1955 at Camp LeJeune, SC daughter of Fred and Grace (Eells) Skinner. She attended school at Marshall County Central at Newfolden, MN.

Luey was employed at Artic Cat in Thief River Falls, MN for 30 years.   She loved animals, especially horses and dogs. She also enjoyed photography.

LuAnn is survived by her two children Sheila Peterson and Cory "Bud" Peterson both of Holt, MN: one grandson Ethan Peterson of Holt. Siblings Michael Skinner of Thief River Falls, MN,   Gerard Skinner of Almena, WI,   Teri Dunrud of Thief River Falls, MN,   Kevin Skinner of Tulsa, OK,   Janet Skinner of Arizona,   Blaise Skinner of Cambridge, WI,   Chad Skinner of Merrill, WI,   Kirby Skinner of Portland, OR,   Patrick Skinner of Lake Worth, FL,  John Skinner of Ladysmith, WI, and Jeanne Acquadro of Washington, DC.

She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Grace Skinner, one brother, Keith Skinner, and grandparents Elmer and Katherine Eells.
