Lucille Dokken, 67, passed away on Wednesday March 27, 2019 at Thief River Care Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service to celebrate Luci's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Larry Myhrer officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Beltrami, MN. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lucille Faye (Bursheim) Dokken was born October 3, 1951 at Fosston, MN daughter of the late Leonard and Opal (Opgrand) Bursheim. Luci attended McIntosh High School graduating in 1969.

On June 17, 1972 she was united in marriage to Bruce Dokken at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in McIntosh, MN. The couple made their home in Thief River Falls, where she was employed at Valley Home, accounting for Main Street Standard, Northwest Medical Center and Walmart retiring in 2014.

She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, camping, crossword puzzles, spending time with her family and basset hounds, Chuck and Yogi.

Luci is survived by her loving sons Harold (Kristine) of Roseau, Matthew (Melody) and Monte (Kimberly) of Thief River Falls; grandsons Thor Roggenbuck, Austin Branchaud, and Henry Dokken; siblings Leone Bursheim of McIntosh, Linda Geske of Thief River Falls, MN, Robin Salveson of Winger, MN, Lyndon Bursheim of Crookston, MN along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bruce on January 18, 2019, parents, stepfather Albert Bjella,   brother, Lynn Bursheim and brother-in-law Arnold Geske.
