Lynette Wold, 55, died on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at the Presbyterian Hospital, Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Greg Schram officiating. Burial will be at Rindal Cemetery, rural Viking, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Saturday.

Lynette Renae Wold was born April 23, 1951, in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of Rueben Alfred and Lenore Eldora (Hall) Wold. She was baptized at Satersdal Lutheran Church and confirmed at Our Saviours Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls. She attended Sunnyside Country School and Lincoln High School, graduating in 1969. She then attended Moorhead State University earning a degree in Psychology and attended the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, graduating with a BS degree in Nursing.

She worked as a social worker with Red Lake county Social Services, an RN in United Hospital, now Altru, in Grand Forks, ND and an RN with University Hospital of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM.

Lynette enjoyed running, the mountains of New Mexico and her beloved cats.

Lynette is survived by mother, Lenore Wold, Thief River Falls, MN; sister, Jan Nyflot, Thief River Falls, MN; brothers, Bob (Patti) Wold and Rick Wold all of Thief River Falls, MN; special friend, Barb Sawyer, Sandia Park, NM.

She was preceded in death by father, Rueben Wold on February 18, 1993; grandparents, Olaf and Mayme Hall and Ingvald and Alma Wold and brother-in-law, Lonnie Nyflot on December 13, 2004.
