Mable Olson, 90, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at the University Medical Center, Hibbing, MN.

Mable Jeanette Bakken was born March 28, 1914 in Star Township, Erie, MN, the daughter of Carl and Sena (Brakke) Bakken. She was confirmed at Eklund Church in Erie and attended Little Oak School in Hickory Township, Pennington County, MN.

On August 10, 1931, Mable was united in marriage to Julius Olson at Thief River Falls, MN. The couple lived and farmed in Hickory Township and Highlanding Township.

She was a homemaker and loved to crochet, knit sew and especially loved to be with her family.

Survived by 4 children; Donald (Jeanette) Olson, Hibbing, MN, Lillian (Selmer) Myrum, Keewatin, MN, Robert (Bonnie) Olson, Keewatin, MN and Milton (Susan) Olson, Keewatin, MN; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great-grandchildren, Gabriel Arveson, Aislyn, Austin and Brooke Petrich and one brother-in-law, Fred Wilde.

Preceded in death by husband, Julius; parents; 7 sisters; 1 brother and numerous nieces and nephews
