Madeline Dupont, 81 of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Tuesday, June 30, 1998 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls. Arrangements with Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 3, 1998 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Terrebonne, MN with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Madeline Noella Perreault was born March 6, 1917 at Terrebonne, MN daughter of Edward and Edna (Rock) Perreault. She was raised there and attended school near there. Madeline was baptized and confirmed at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Terrebonne. On September 4, 1939 she was united in marriage to Ralph Dupont at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The couple lived and farmed in the Terrebonne area for 50 years.

Madeline was an active member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church and the ladies guild, she enjoyed quilting, camping and fishing, also dancing.

She is survived by her husband Ralph Dupont of Terrebonne, MN: children Glorianne Kargel of McGrath, MN, Gary Dupont (Elaine) of Bloomington, MN, Ronnie Dupont of Denver, CO, Dean Dupont (Paulette) of Red Lake Falls, MN and Karen Knott (Frank) of Red Lake Falls, MN. Grandchildren Theresa, Diane, Kevin, Crissy, Cindy, Renee, Greg, Ronda, Shane, Richard, Joanne: 6 great-grandchildren: step mother Rose Perreault of Red Lake Falls, MN: four sisters Eva Raymond of Red Lake Falls, MN, Helen Arvesen of Stephen, MN, Doreen Wiblushauser of St. Paul, MN and Marie Jochim of Anoka, MN; one brother Gerald Perreault of Grand Forks, ND: several nieces and nephews.

Her father and mother precede her in death.
