Madonna Marie (Schirrick) Peterson, a ge 82, of Bloomington passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Bloomington, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday March 30, 10:30am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 112 Edward Ave NW Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bill DeCrans Officiating.

Interment to follow at St. Dorothy's Catholic Cemetery in Dorothy, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Wednesday.

Madonna Marie Peterson was born on June 30, 1933 in Red Lake Falls, MN. She graduated from Lafayette HS in Red Lake Falls, MN in 1951. Madonna received her nursing degree from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul. She was an RN who compassionately cared for others. Her passion for nursing was only surpassed by her love of family, music, travel, the fall colors, and Elvis Presley. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

Madonna is survived by her sons, Michael (Terry), Mark (Kim) and Marty; grandchildren, Paige, Greg, Ashley and Abby; sisters, Cecile Baatz and Carol (Karl) Laier; brothers, Joseph (Dorothy) Schirrick and Don (Karen) Schirrick; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by parents, Peter & Emma Schirrick; brother, Peter Schirrick and infant sister, Mary.
