Maizy Rose Fuentes, infant daughter of Rafael and Anne (Halvorson) Fuentes, was born on September 25, 2009 in Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND and passed away in the arms of her parents on October 20, 2009 in Meritcare Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM Friday, October 23, 2009 at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Burial will follow at St. Bernards Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday.

Maizy is survived by her parents, Rafael and Anne (Halvorson) Fuentes; Sisters and Brother, Priscilla, Justin, Annyssa and Shayla; Grandparents, Morris and Carolyn (Wiener) Halvorson and Santiago Fuentes Sr. (Rosalinda Marinez); Great-grandmothers, Edith Halvorson and Fern Svoboda; Uncles and Aunts, Jeff (Karen) Wengeler, Joseph (Nikki) Peters, Eric Halvorson, Santiago Fuentes Jr. (Ruby) and Elisa Fuentes; Niece and Nephew, Melanie and Andrew Deleon and many cousins.

She is preceded in death by Great-grandparents, Joseph and Florence (Fontaine) Wiener, Taylor Halvorson, Lalo and Petra Marinez and Lorenzo and Paula Fuentes.
