Marcy Kalinoski, 89, of Frazee, MN passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Frazee Care Center in Frazee, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Burial will be at St. Anthonys Cemetery, Terrebonne, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.

Marceanna Julia Mrozek was born on January 9, 1921 to August Sr. and Teckla (Hamernick) Mrozek on their farm near Flensburg, MN. She was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and attended country school near Flensburg.

She worked in Little Falls, Bar Harbor, and Greenbush, MN where she met and married Leo Kalinoski on November 23, 1943 in Leo, MN. They bought land near Terrebonne, MN where they farmed, operated the M & L Chicken House (restaurant), and raised their family. Marcy also worked for Detroiter Mobile Homes for several years. In 1970, they sold the farm and moved to Winger, MN where they owned and operated the Liquor store for 10 years. They retired and continued to live in Winger until 2001 when Marcy moved to Perham, MN. Leo died in 1998.

Marcy loved to entertain. She liked to cook and bake. She made and decorated wedding cakes for many years. She also liked making craft items, playing cards, making donuts, and oil painting pictures. In August of 2009, Marcy moved to the Frazee Care Center.

Marcy is survived by daughter: Paulette (Patrick) Hanson, Red Lake Falls, MN, sons: Van (Sue) Kalinoski, Dent, MN, Gary Kalinoski, Grand Forks, ND, six grandchildren: Scott (Mary) Hanson, Rochester, MN, Timothy (fianc Sandra Ruberg) Hanson, Golden Valley, MN, Vanessa Holzheu, Zimmerman, MN, Bryan (Amy) Kalinoski, Rogers, MN, Paul (Ericka) Kalinoski, Fosston, MN, Andrew Kalinoski, Fosston, MN, 11 great grandchildren, brothers in law: Victor (Lila) Kalinoski, Thief River Falls, MN, August (Joan) Kalinoski, Elm Grove, WI, sisters in law: Monica Mrozek, Little Falls, MN, Helen Kalinoski, Greenbush, MN, numerous nieces and nephews.

Marcy was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and eight sisters and six brothers.
