Margaret Anderson, 80, died on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, March 11, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. Burial will follow at St. Dorothy Cemetery in Dorothy, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church.

Margaret Margie Rose Gilman was born on June 21, 1930 in Hopkins, MN the daughter of Geoffrey Dewey and Margaret (Brecka) Gilman.

She attended school in Hopkins, graduated from Charles City High School, in Charles City, Iowa in 1948. Margie graduated from college at Moorhead State University in Moorhead, MN in 1975 with a degree in Social Work.

Margie was united in marriage to Clifton Paul Casavan on February 5, 1955. Together they had four children, Harlan, Dave, Sue, and Scott. Their son, Scott passed away in 1978. Clifton died in April of 1996. On October 3, 1980, Margie was united in marriage to Dr. Paul Herman Anderson. Paul died in November of 2006 in Rapid City, SD.

Survivors include Margies children, Harlan (Mary) Casavan of Crookston, MN, Sue Casavan of Talent, OR, and David (Julie) Casavan of Red Lake Falls, MN; grandchildren, Wade McCollum of New York, NY, Derek Casavan of Red Lake Falls, MN, Jason Casavan of Red Lake Falls, MN, Marcy Casavan of St. Cloud, MN, Jacob Casavan of Grand Forks, ND, Joshua Casavan of Grand Forks, ND, and Elizabeth Casavan of Alexandria, MN.

She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Casavan in 1978; her husband, Paul in 2006, and her parents.
