MARGARET LeDOUX, 72, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Saturday, October 31, 1998 at her home in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 1998 at 2:00 PM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near Red Lake Falls.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday 5 - 8 PM with a 7:30 prayer service at the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls and for one your prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Margaret Gertrude Josephine DeHaan was born October 30, 1926 daughter of John and Gertrude (Perrin) DeHaan at Wilhelmina, Missouri. She moved to Montana with her family at a young age where she started school. At the age of 7 years, in 1934 she moved to Red Lake Falls where she attended school and graduated in 1946 then received her teachers training in 1947. She taught in country schools for a time. On February 3, 1948 she was united in marriage to Luverne LeDoux in Red Lake Falls. That year they moved to California where they lived for a time then they lived in various places in the United States. The couple returned to Red Lake Falls in 1991 and has resided here since. Margaret worked at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls for several years.
Margaret enjoyed quilting, flowers and gardening, fishing, cross word puzzles, country western music but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Luverne LeDoux of Red Lake Falls, MN; children John LeDoux (Ginger) of Lancaster, MN; Linda LeDoux of Aurora, CO; Sue Domier (Kim) of Sioux Falls, SD and JoAnn LeDoux (Fianc Charlie Hernandez) of Houston, TX: six grandchildren: brothers and sisters Martin DeHaan (Bernadette) of Red Lake Falls, MN, Gerard DeHaan (Betty) of Thief River Falls, MN, Jacob Henry DeHaan (Barbara) and Anthony DeHaan both of Red Lake Falls, MN, Elaine Sis Boucher (Deane) of Crookston, MN. Many nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her parents John and Gertrude DeHaan, sister Catherine Roberts and brothers John DeHaan, Joseph DeHaan and Robert DeHaan.
