Margaret Thompson, 85 of Holt, MN died peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at her home surrounded with her loving family at her side.

Celebration of Life will be held Thursday July 12, 2018 at 2 pm at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Holt.

Margaret Ruth Beyer was born February 11, 1933 in Welch Township, MN, the daughter of Joseph and Mable (Hurry) Beyer.

In 1950, Margaret was united in marriage to Fredrick Voth and to this union four children were born, Susan, Wayne, Ronald and Debra.  Fredrick died in 1984.  In 1990, Margaret married Eldon Thompson.

Margaret was a homemaker and worked for many years at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Margaret was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Holt, MN.  Gardening, ceramics, canning vegetables, making jam, raising chickens, card playing, cooking and bringing family together were her passions.

Survivors include her husband, Eldon; children, Ronald Voth, Longview, WA and Debra Filer (Tom Mayer), Plymouth, MN; 6 grandchildren, Aaron Olson (Sarah), Menahga, MN, Dan Voth (Missy), Great Falls, MT, Wayne Voth Jr (Stacie)., Colorado Springs, CO, Andrew Filer, Seattle, WA, Hannah Filer (Dobril Vasilev), Bulgaria and Samatha Voth, Troutdale, Oregon; 2 great grandchildren, Nathaniel Voth and Alyssa Voth; brother, Henry and sister, Esther.

Proceeded in death by husband, Frederick, a daughter, Susan at birth, a son, Wayne in 2012, 6 brothers and 4 sisters.
