Marianne Schindler, 79, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at her rural Red Lake falls Home surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Chuck Huck Officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery near Red Lake Falls, MN. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at St. Joseph Catholic Church and also one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Marianne Schindler was born January 29, 1934 daughter of the late Frank and Raphael (Williams) Hagl on the family farmstead west of Red Lake Falls, MN. She worked on the farm growing up, later she worked at St. John Hospital as a Nurses aid. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1953. She married her class mate Theodore Schindler on November 15, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. The couple resided and farmed in Red Lake County. Marianne spent many years cooking, cleaning, caring for her family and helping on the farm. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and was involved in a homemaker club. Marianne has touched many hearts over the years and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband Ted of Red Lake Falls, MN: 9 children Bruce (Shari) Schindler of Grand Forks, ND, Cheri (John) Johnson of Williams, MN, Paul (Lorie) Schindler of Lakeville, MN, Tom Schindler of Red Lake Falls, MN, John (Staci) Schindler of Red Lake Falls, MN, Frank (Deann) Schindler of Lake Benton, MN, Debbie Wavra of Lake Park, MN, Peggy (Corey) Vreeland of Grand Forks ND, Gary (Sarah) Schindler of Rhinelander, WI: forty-four grandchildren Rachel, Bethany, Angela, Jonathan, Melanie, Joseph, Kari, Lisa, Micah, Jenny, Luke, Chara, Jordon, Mac, Ellie, Neil, Erin, Emma, Holly, Nicole, Matthew, Layna, Clint, Brittany, Jared, Tyler, Heath, Samantha, Aubrey, Lane, Angie, Caitlyn, Steven, Micayla, Kyle, Jacob, Sean, Mandi, Madison, Olivia, Grace, Alexa, James, Kennedy: nine great-grandchildren, Aurelie, Noah, Evelyn, Cora, Kira, Owen, Jacob, Adam and McKenzie. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Raphael Hagl, brothers Don Hagl, Lawrence "Bood" Hagl.
