Marilyn Eliose Dodson of Grove went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 26, 2003. She was 70.

Mrs. Dodson was born May 24, 1932 to Henry and Alfa (Johnson) Gilthvedt at Grygla, MN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Grove Christian Center Church for 22 years. She received her education as a L.P. N. and serving many years as an active Mid-Wife. She married Edwin Colmer Erickson; he preceded her in death April 30, 1977. She later married Carl Dodson in 1991.

Survivors include her husband Carl Dodson of Seneca, Mo. Three children: Reginale Jon Erickson and Paul Erickson, both of Grove and Becca Lynn Chambers of Texas. Four foster children: Kathy McGregor, Windy Peterson, Todd Gjerdi and Tori Gjerdi all of Minnesota. Fourteen grandchildren, R.C. Erickson, Shelly Erickson, Edwin Erickson, Andy Erickson, Kyle Erickson, Cody Erickson, Nick Erickson, Adam Erickson, Molly Erickson, Drew Erickson, John Chambers, Justin Chambers, Cheri Hanes and Suzy Lasoya; six great grandchildren. Also surviving are eight sisters, Vickie Schaefbaubr, Allayne Golver, Herdi Limberg, Joy Perkins, Marley Schultz, Judy Slen, Caryl Nisley, Bonnae Mastrianni and one brother, Harley Gilthvedt.

Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday January 30, 2003, at the Grove Christian Center. Reverend Leon Vernon to officiate with Leland Mooney assisting. Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 3, 2003 at the Greenwood Cemetery in Strathcona, MN. Memorial contributions may be made to Missions work at Grove Christian Center. Services are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
