Marion L. Lambert, 87, of Oklee, MN died on Thursday, January 18, 2001 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN. Arrangements with the Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2001 at 10:30 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN with Father Gary LaMoine Officiating and Father Joe Richards Concelebrating. Burial will be held in the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery in Oklee, MN.

Visitation will be held on Monday, from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:30 PM prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN and also one hour Prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Marion Leona Boucher was born August 4, 1913 at Bucktown, MN daughter of the late Xavier and Emma (Martin) Boucher. She was raised in Lambert Township near Oklee, MN and attended rural school. She worked on area farms as a domestic laborer. On July 8, 1935 she was married to Walter Lambert at Oklee, MN. The couple lived in Detroit Michigan for ten years. They returned to Lambert Township and resided there until 1970 when they moved into Oklee, MN. Walter passed away on June 2, 1991 and Marion has resided at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN since October of 2000.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting. She always had a garden. She belonged to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, St. Anns Society and the Sew n Save Homemakers club.
Marion is survived by her children Lois (Earl) Vraa of Sarona, WI; Richard (Mary Ann) Lambert of Oklee, MN; Sandy Lambert of Albuquerque, NM; Sister Jo (JoAnne) Lambert of St. Paul, MN and Gail (Art) Bowlin of Picayune, Mississippi. Sisters Anna (Adelore) Morrisette of Red Lake Falls, MN and Florence (Maurice) Derosier of Oak Creek, WI. One brother Leonard (Rose) Boucher of Thief River Falls, MN. Sisters-in-law Dore Boucher of Oklee, MN Dorothy Lambert of Oklee, MN and Pauline Boucher of Yakima, WA; brother-in-law Leonard (Midge) Lambert of Florida. Sixteen grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, Son Robert, Parents, brothers Emil, Lawrence, Charlie and Frank: one grandson and one great-grandson.
