Mark Dennis Langevin passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at Hillcrest Senior Living in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. He was 82 years old.

Mark was born on November 17, 1942, to Dennis and Doris (Wiener) Langevin in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. He attended school in Thief River Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961.

On September 4, 1964, Mark married his high school sweetheart, Ellen Ethel Larson, in Thief River Falls. Together they built a life in St. Hilaire, Minnesota, where they raised four children: Dennis, Tina, Velvet, and Mary.

Mark held various jobs throughout his life. He began by washing cars at Forkenbrock Motors and driving a cab before joining Grundy's Office Supply, which later became Tony Dorn Office Supply. He dedicated 50 years to the company. Later in life, he also worked part-time for DigiKey until his retirement.

He enjoyed the outdoors—especially hunting and fishing—and found joy in playing cards and bingo. Mark loved driving through the countryside in search of wildlife and visiting the casino. One of his favorite pastimes was playing 6-5-4 with his family. He was also an active member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.

Mark is survived by his children: Dennis (Beth) Langevin of Ottertail, MN; Tina (Jeff) Spiering of St. Hilaire, MN; Velvet Langevin of Thief River Falls, MN; and Mary (Jim) Nephew of Red Lake Falls, MN; grandchildren: Kathryn Langevin, Alexander (Britni) Langevin, Nick (Abby) Spiering, Linzie (Cody) Sele, Justin (Heather) Nephew, Jonathan Scott, and Miquela (Joseph) Rosenquist; great-grandchildren: Casper, Christopher, and Jake; brother Charles (Peggy) Langevin; along with many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Ellen; his parents, Dennis and Doris; and numerous aunts, uncles, and relatives.

Mass of Christian burial for Mark will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 25, 2025 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert officiating. Burial will be held at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM with a prayer service at 7 PM on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service on Friday.
