Mark Lindholm of Thief River Falls, MN age 48 died on Sunday, March 30, 2014 as the result of a house fire. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Mark Lindholm will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Robert Dahlen officiating. Burial will be held at Satersdal Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mark Alan Lindholm was born on June 2, 1965 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Dean and Lucille (Koukol) Lindholm. The family moved to Thief River Falls, MN in 1969. Mark attended Northrup Elementary, Franklin Middle and Lincoln High Schools, graduating in 1984. After high school, Mark began farming with his dad on the family farm in Excel Township, Marshall County, MN. Mark enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and spending time with family and friends. He loved to drink beer and chase girls. Survivors include his mother, Lucille of Hibbing, MN; brothers, Michael (Karen) Lindholm of Thief River Falls, Allan (Kathy) Lindholm of St. Croix Falls, WI, David Lindholm of Denver, CO, John Lindholm of Pinole, CA; sisters, Kim (John) Hanson of Owatonna, MN, Cheryl (Nicholas) Danculovich of Hibbing, MN; aunts and uncles, Sharon (Maynard) Elj of Nashwauk, MN, Mary Lou (Dennis) Splett of Bremerton, WA, Jean Koukol of West Allis, WI; nephews and nieces, Briar, Blair, Christine, Erika, Marjorie, Sarah, Peggy & David, Sheri Jo, Deana, Jenny, Becca & Chas; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Dean in 1998; grandparents, Einerd (Bessie) Lindholm, Frank (Lucille) Koukol; and several aunts and uncles.
