Marlene had many hobbies and interests in life. Crocheting was very important to her as was her time spent at Zion Lutheran Church making prayer shawls. She loved to read and do word puzzles, Sudoku, and more recently boxed puzzles; anything to keep her mind active and alert.
Marlene was a long-time member of the American Legion Auxiliary, on the Board of Valley Home, on the Trinity Lutheran Church Council and helped to deliver Meals on Wheels until her health no longer enabled her to do it. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a volunteer there for many church activities. After retirement she did catering work for Jeff Liden.
Marlene and David Beedy had three boys: Twins Michael (Janelle) and Mark (Mark) and 4 years later Craig (Karla). Marlene was blessed with two amazing grandchildren: Kendra (Jesse Henke) (who is a Registered Nurse), Kelton (who is a farm manager) and step granddaughter Katie and step-great grandchildren: Aydin & Zane. She was proud of all of them.

Marlene was diagnosed with bladder cancer on Dec. 23, 2020 and died at Sanford Hospital on February 1, 2021. Marlene was a life-long nurse and spent a lot of her time helping people in their times of need. May her memory be blessed and her life be remembered by all. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
